The Business of Learning


The Business and Economics Academy of Milwaukee, which opened in 2001, is a tuition free, public Charter School educating 600 students in grades PreK-8. 

 

The school is an Independent, Non-instrumentality Charter School chartered by Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) through the Milwaukee Board of School Directors, which is 1 of 3 chartering authorities in the Milwaukee area.  

 

BEAM is operated by the BEAM Board of Directors and day-to-day operations are managed by the a leadership team employed by the Academy.

 

All teachers at BEAM are certified.
